passport saga

Yeaaaahh! Dad's back! and boy did he have a horrible trip. First they took away his passport so he had to go to the tonsulate and get another one so he missed his flight. Then they made him fly to Edinburgh to get a flight back to the US because all the flights were booked up in London for another four days. Then when he got to Newark the flights were delayed over and over again. Then they put him on the plane which had no pilot. Then after midnight they took him off the plane which still had no pilot and he had to sleep on the floor by the payphones till 5 am. Then he had to get another ticket for another flight. Then at 6 am they put him on the flight back to Cleveland. So far he was without sleep for about 32 hours!! Wow, Dad's a real trooper!! Then Uncle Mike felt sorry for him so he got up real early and picked up Dad at the airport instead of making him take the Rapid Transit. Then Dad finally smiled as he saw the familar site of my hunting grounds pull into view! Then Uncle Mike took his picture so Dad could remember the moment he arrived! Then Dad came upstairs to give me a squeeze. Then Dad passed out. Then Sveta came with her daughter but Uncle Mike saw them coming and told them Dad was passed out so they left and promised to walk me some other time. Sheesh that's one long story! I thought I'd never see Dad again!

PS that's Uncle Mike's blue Volvo in the background. He really likes it but it's like really old and it's startin to fall apart.
