I like hangin with Uncle Mike, he tells me all kinda cool stories like the time he almost fell off the Eiger and the other time he climbed Mt. Everest with one hand tied behind his back and saved a whole buncha people from a blizzard! He must be some kinda adventurer, eh? I wanna be a mountain climber when I grow up!

Check out this closeup of my whiskers, don't they look just puuurrrrfect?! I work really hard to keep them neat an clean so's I can detect mice. Uncle Mike said he went to see the movie "Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy" and it turns out that mice run the world! Sheesh, can you believe that? I guess I better be nice to mice.

Dad's Away - We're Gonna Play

Dad's back in the mines with his particle detective. Uncle Mike's been takin me out at night because it's been rainy during the days and he said he was really busy at work. I like it better at night because nobody can see me in the dark. Night before last I found a furry guy rattling around in the bushes, Uncle Mike said it was Pepe le Pew and I should give him a wide berth because he had a white stripe down his back.

Uncle Mike said he went to see the vet today. Somebody had left 5 kittens in a box on Doc's doorstep. Just like me, sheesh! Maybe they're my cousins! Wouldn't that be cool?! Maybe Dad will rescue them too. That would be so cool, to have 5 of my cousins to hang with. I can't wait till Dad gets back so I can ask him.

Here's a closeup of my new buddy. Uncle Mike says he's probably a Maine Coon, whatever that is. He has big blue eyes. His dad never lets him outside. I feel sorry for this guy, behind bars all day long.
